Introducing "Inside the Author's Mind"

Part of what is important for a writer is connecting with other writers. For someone like me who is an introvert by nature, social networking via blogs, Facebook and Twitter is an amazing tool. While frequenting forums and joining writers’ groups, I have met other authors in varying stages of their careers—some published, some pre-published, and others multi-published. Regardless of where they are, the community is overwhelmingly supportive of each other in our endeavors to become better writers.

The aim is to write well and to sell, to get our books into the marketplace to as many readers as possible. To this end, I would like to do my part in supporting other writers. I am introducing a new segment to my blog called “Inside the Author’s Mind.” This feature will showcase erotica/romance authors whom I think you would enjoy learning more about.

Each post will provide a brief description of the author and/or book, and the interview will be conducted similar to a Proust/Pivot questionnaire. I will choose the questions, and they will remain the same for each interview. How often this post appears on my blog will depend on authors’ availability, but my plan is to run it at least twice a month, and it will be posted on a Friday.

I hope you will enjoy this new segment as an opportunity to discover new authors and what goes on in their heads.
