The Dare to Wear Love Gala and fashion show took place at the Ritz Carlton Friday, Mar. 28th, and what a night it was!
Many thanks to Susan Dicks for her creation of my beautiful dress.
Deepest thanks to Jim Searle and Chris Tyrell of HOAX Couture, creators of Dare to Wear Love.
Here are 25 pictures from the evening’s show, but there are hundreds more! Find them on all the Dare to Wear Love sites.

The evening was beautiful, fun, filled with love, and most importantly, celebrated the talents and commitment to social justice of Canada’s fashion design community and artists.
By raising funds and awareness for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, we were all able to USE THE POWER OF FASHION FOR GOOD!
I had the pleasure of walking the catwalk to the song, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Hope you enjoy!

I’m glad you didn’t see the heels! They were boots and comfortable to strut in. I’m no fool! Thanks honey for sharing the post xox

Were you nervous walking down the cat walk? You don’t look it at all. You look poised, confident and damn sexy. 🙂

Hi Casey, haha, thank you! I was very nervous, thought I would do a face plant into the crowd. Wanted to make sure to show off the dress and not fall! Turned out well. Phew!

Oh la la cherie! I can’t make up my mind whether you look more like Marilyn Monroe or Marie Antoinette! Maybe if the two of them had a child together. 🙂 What a lovely outfit! Love that skirt! And the sexy blouse becomes you…:) What a terrific cause…I know you had a lot of fun doing that!

Yeah, I noticed I used exactly the same adjective in a comment then! I thought your outfit was different from the sketches you put out a week or two ago … 😳
