Music Mondays ~ Boogie Chillun’ with John Lee Hooker

FiW.BLUESI released my book “Seduced by the Blues” earlier this week, and its main character was inspired to play blues guitar after listening to this song.

Enjoy the great John Lee Hooker, and grab my book if you’re in the mood for sexy boogie chillun’.

Musical Mondays – Sharon Corr with Jeff Beck

“Women of Ireland” or “Mná na hÉireann” in Irish is a song composed by Seán Ó Riada, perhaps the most influential figure in the revival of Irish traditional music during the 1960s. There are few pieces of music that can move me more, and I had the great pleasure of being at this very performance in London last year.

Enjoy the elegance of Sharon Corr’s violin against the thunderous guitar of Jeff Beck.

Musical Mondays – Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed

It was a coup for me to find this version of “Summertime” featuring Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed, two legendary and innovative guitarists playing together to one of my favorite songs. How can you not look forward to summer when you listen to these guys? Crank it up!

Enjoy and stay sexy,
